Some days it is definitely better being a girl.

Today I needed to go get rid of some used motor oil at the local
recycling center. Since it was a Heather day, I went as is. I'd say I
was looking like any GG as is my norm, knee length purple skirt, boots,
longsleeve top, tights and big sunglasses. When I got to the center, I
wasn't sure as to where I needed to go, so I made an educated guess and
stopped in one of the buildings to ask. Lucky for me I was in the right
place. The guy who was working there offered to empty the oil container
for me. He wheeled a cart out to the Jeep and put the container on it,
brought it inside and drained it and then put it back in the Jeep. Now,
I am reasonably certain that if I had gone as Joe that I would have had
to empty the container for myself. I have no doubt that he saw me as a
woman and seriously doubt if he read me at all. He was very courteous,
holding the door for me and everything. It's like Louise says, "And
people wonder why I like to dress like a woman."
