It's about 98 degrees outside today. Ordinarily I'd wear a short skirt or shorts, but I decided on a broomstick skirt instead. Wow, what a difference it makes. Surprisingly, it's cooler than a shorter skirt. I suspect this is because it makes a nice little pocket of shade around the legs. Either way, I will be doing this much more in warmer weather.
