The front of the bus is mighty comfy!

Well, tonight I came home from work and we had a quick dinner. I went &
got changed - boot cut jeans, my pink "Vegas girl" shirt, white stiletto
boots and headed off to the polls. When I got there they couldn't find
me on the register, it seems they reorganized the districts and never
bothered to tell anyone. A little searching later and we found my name
on the books. The guy was flipping through the book and I saw my name
and pointed to it and said "That's me". He asked me to sign the book and
asked me if I had ever been to Vegas (now, keep in mind this is a
retired guy). I told him I had bought the shirt in Vegas and he made
small talk while he filled out the slip. He wished me happy voting as I
walked over to the machines to wait my turn.

Now, I know he saw my name when I signed, but he did not make an issue
of it at all. He didn't even ask for my ID which I was ready to hand
over along with my TG ID card. I handed my card to the guy working the
booth and went and placed my vote. On my way out another younger guy
wished me a good night and I went on my way. If anyone read me they did
not let on at all and the guy who saw my name didn't even flinch at it.
I was just another voter as far as they were concerned.. now get out
there and vote!
