(mini) skirts in winter

OK, I'm impressed. I have to admit that every time I saw some girl
waiting for the school bus in the middle of winter wearing a mini skirt
I had to think "man, that has to be cold!" Well, today I wore a corduroy
(wow, i wore corduroy.. I hate corduroy) skirt, tights, over the ankle
boots and was not cold! Oh, and it was 25F this morning when I took my
daughter to the bus stop. I am utterly amazed, Granted, if there had
been a wind today I think I would have been colder but I was actually
not cold. My hands were cold but my legs were not. So I have yet another
reason to wear women's fashions. I don't think a pair of jeans would
have been any warmer than this skirt & tights was.
