mountains of West Virginia. Now, my wife's family (well, most of them
anyway) know nothing of Heather as I seriously doubt most of them would
understand. When it comes to the friends that we went to party with, one
knows all about heather and is supportive. The rest I think will have no
issues with Heather honestly. All in all the weekend went well, with a
few exceptions. I wore a pair of stretch jeans , block heeled boots (not
really all that feminine) and a pullover top (neutral really). One thing
that I did do though was carry my purse.
You see, my wife's younger sister would be there and she has been a real
jerk about alot of things lately. Both my wife & I agreed that we were
not going to cater to the narrow minded this weekend. If she decided to
say something we were going to take the bull by the horns and confront
the issue head on. Well, at one point my wife's niece (she's 12) asked her
mom about my camisole (an orange one under my shirt that showed a little
if i bent over). Of course miss drama queen over reacted to the whole
situation and confronted my wife about it. She asked :What does Joe have on
under his shirt?" as if it were any of her business in the first
place... my wife told her it was an undershirt and left it at that. The
rest of the story I'll leave for my wife to elaborate on because she saw
much more first hand than I did.
By the way, I hardly noticed any looks from the general public when it
comes to my appearance or purse. Overall, most people didn't notice or
didn't care.....
