This morning I had to drop my daughter off at the bus and then go for my
allergy shot. I can't do this as Heather at this point, but I am in the
habit of "freaking out the locals" on occasion. I wore my really long
jeans (with a 38"inseam) and my red suede stiletto boots with the 4"
heels in guy mode. With the jeans, you can barely see the heels when I
stand up. I regularly wear stiletto heeled boots in guy mode so this is
nothing all that rare, although it's the first time in these boots.
While I was waiting after my allergy shot, I sat there and crossed my
legs (girl style, like I always do) and played a game on my phone. A few
minutes later, a mid-30's lady comes over to me, leans over and whispers
in my ear "I just had to tell you, those are some great boots." She then
went off on her way. So, if you ever doubt that you can find an
accepting woman out there, keep looking... They are everywhere.
